Scaling changes ingredient amounts, not equipment capacity or the instructions. Brew espresso shots separately; batch only within your equipment’s limits.

Ingredients

  • 36 g freshly brewed double espresso
  • 120 ml hot water

How to make it

  1. Warm a heat-safe cup.
  2. Pour 120 ml hot water into it, leaving room for the espresso.
  3. Brew a double espresso and pour it into the water.
  4. Stir, taste, and add more water if you like a lighter cup.
A note for your next cup

This is a home proportion; café sizes vary. Adding water changes strength, not the caffeine already in the shot.

An original home adaptation, not independently kitchen-tested. Drink names, sizes, and proportions vary between cafés. The illustration shows ingredients schematically, not exact measured layers.
