BEFORE YOU GO

Make the trip part of the ritual.

A good coffee journey leaves room for weather, harvest seasons, local knowledge, and a slow cup. Use these quick notes before you confirm a route.

01

Ask what is actually bookable.

Some farms welcome visitors by appointment; others publish a route but confirm dates by message. Check language, transport, accessibility, cancellation terms, and whether tastings are included.

02

Travel with the harvest in mind.

Flowering, picking, drying, and festivals change the feel of a coffee region. Ask the host what is happening when you arrive instead of assuming every season looks the same.

03

Leave the place better.

Choose local guides where possible, follow farm biosecurity requests, ask before photographing people, and buy directly when it makes sense. Coffee is a crop, a livelihood, and a living landscape.
